Everyone should know where to turn
Before joining a club, ask who is responsible for safeguarding and how a child, parent or athlete can raise a concern. Clarify supervision, photography, communication and travel arrangements.
International reference documents
ITF publishes a child-safeguarding policy, an adult-harassment policy and an instructors’ code of conduct. Its document directory also includes disciplinary complaints and appeals.
Raising a concern
Use the federation’s contact page to request the applicable reporting procedure and responsible contact. Avoid sharing sensitive personal details through public comments. The appropriate procedure depends on the organisation and the nature of the concern.
The international documents below are reference material. They should be read alongside the policies that apply to your club and national organisation.
